The Greenwood Consortium, established in Brussels in 2023, is an ad hoc consortium formed by leading EU producers of hardwood plywood from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, and Spain. Most of these are members of the European Panel Federation. Dedicated to creating a level playing field for the industry’s products in its home markets and beyond, the Greenwood Consortium leverages trade policy instruments to promote fairness and sustainability.
